  Red Fox is a gorgeous Revolution period inn with great food and an amazing ambiance. I took my parents in since they were visiting from Texas, and we had a great time. It really transports you to another time, with the exposed brick, wooden beams overhead, and old school wood bar. We had the biscuits and gravy which was good, and the vegetarian omelette, which was even better. The sauteed veggies were perfectly spiced. I'd definitely go back, maybe on a date.

  It's easy to overlook such an old place when there are excellent new restaurants nearby, but red fox is superlative. Excellent relaxed and friendly staff, from an expert and generous bartender ( I forget her name), to our waiter John who helped us find a great bottle of wine without breaking the bank.

  Wonderful historic area. Food here well worth the time and service was top notch. Circa 1728 tavern. We took our meal downstairs and enjoyed very much
